A pair of pillar (or wall-)-rugs (ka-thum)

A rare pair, depicting monks, blowing a conch-trumpet. Both carpets have an identical inscription: dge slong 'phrin las 'bul lo.

Ninxia/Mongolia, early 20th cent.
Size of each carpet: 224 x 77 cm.


Folding table
The front is beautifully carved with two deer and Chinese motifs.

Tibet, 18th cent.
Size: 57 x 30 x 30 cm.


Rug used for sitting or sleeping on (khaden)
Interesting pattern, which is related to the famous 'tiger-rug'.
